automotive

As auto-makers seek to improve their carbon credentials, they are looking at materials as well as energy efficiency.  Bioplastics can be moulded and formed conventionally but have inherently better carbon credentials.

Rigid Supports

Trials of bioplastics in physical support and surface finish applications are showing promise.  Bioplastics are not ready for under bonnet use – yet!  Improved temperature performance is, however, being developed and inherent grease/oil resistance is good.

Transit Protection

Bioplastics are an ideal choice for transit protection from wheels to the interior.  In film and moulded form they can be re-used or recycled.
